 Amnesty International innovated by turning the fight against torture into a powerful sensory experience. The “Sounds from Torture” campaign recreated real torture sounds and made them available in a website, simulating the conditions of confinement victims endure. This immersive experience provoked a visceral reaction, bringing audiences closer to the harsh reality and encouraging concrete action against torture. A disruptive activation that leveraged technology and sound to generate empathy and mobilize the public for human rights.
