Hi there.

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, the most common name in Brazil is José Silva. However, my personal experience begs to differ.

You see, there’s a Bruno Barros who plays as a left-back for rather unremarkable football teams (and not very well, I might add), an actor and TV director, a graphic designer, a UI/UX specialist, and—brace yourselves—even the copywriter I worked with for years was called Bruno Barros. What do they all have in common? Aside from their impeccable taste in names, they all seem to have a far better SEO strategy than I do.

This website, besides showcasing the work I’ve done over 19 years as an art director, head of art, and creative director in Brazil and Portugal, has a modest yet vital mission: to help me stand out in this vast sea of Bruno Barroses. I hold no grudges against my namesakes (well, except perhaps the left-back—he really was a terrible player), but do allow me the small pleasure of appearing before them on Google, just this once.
